भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
स त्वं भुड़क्ष्य महाराज सपुत्र: ससुहृज्जन: । नावबुध्यसि यद् राजन् वार्यमाण: सुहृज्जनै:,महाराज! आप सुहृदोंके मना करनेपर भी जो ध्यान नहीं देते हैं, इससे अब स्वयं ही पुत्रों और सुहदोंसहित अपनी अनीतिका फल भोगिये
sa tvaṁ bhokṣyase mahārāja saputraḥ sasuhṛjjanaḥ | nāvabudhyasi yad rājan vāryamāṇaḥ suhṛjjanaiḥ ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Por ello, oh gran rey, habrás de soportar las consecuencias—junto con tus hijos y tu círculo de bienquerientes—porque, oh rey, no comprendes ni siquiera cuando aquellos que de veras te aprecian te contienen y te amonestan».
