Arjuna’s Advance toward Bhīṣma; The Gāṇḍīva’s Signal and the Armies’ Convergence (भीष्माभिमुखगमनम् — गाण्डीवनिर्घोष-ध्वजवर्णनम्)
पुरस्कृत्य महाराज भीमसेनघटोत्कचौ । पूजयन्तस्तदान्योन्यं मुदा परमया युता:,महाराज! भीमसेन और घटोत्कचको आगे करके परस्पर एक दूसरेकी प्रशंसा करते हुए पाण्डवसैनिक बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ नाना प्रकारके सिंहनाद करते हुए गये। उनकी उस गर्जनाके साथ विविध वाद्योंकी ध्वनि तथा शंखोंके शब्द भी मिले हुए थे
puraskṛtya mahārāja bhīmasena-ghaṭotkacau | pūjayantas tadānyonyaṁ mudā paramayā yutāḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: «Oh Rey, poniendo al frente a Bhīmasena y a Ghaṭotkaca, las huestes Pāṇḍavas avanzaron, honrándose y elogiándose mutuamente, colmadas de la más alta alegría. Sus rugidos, como de leones, se alzaron junto al estruendo de muchos instrumentos y al clamor de las caracolas.»
