Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | bhīmasenasya tu mārgeṣu patitān parvatopamān | apaśyaṁ nihatān nāgān rājan niṣṭhīvato 'parān ||

Translation

Dijo Sañjaya: A lo largo de los caminos por donde avanzaba Bhīmasena, vi elefantes—enormes como montañas—tendidos, muertos. Y, oh rey, vi también muchos otros elefantes abatidos, que aún echaban espuma por la boca.
