ततो रथसहस्रेषु विद्रवत्सु ततस्तत:,उधर सहस्रों रथी जब इधर-उधर भाग रहे थे, उसी समय एक रथपर बैठे हुए अभिमन्यु और सात्यकि सुबलपुत्रकी सेनाका संग्रामभूमिमें सब ओरसे संहार करने लगे

Dijo Sañjaya: Luego, mientras miles de carros huían en todas direcciones, Abhimanyu y Sātyaki—montados en un solo carro—comenzaron a abatir por doquier a las fuerzas del hijo de Subala en el campo de batalla, convirtiendo el desorden enemigo en una desbandada.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in action: steadfast courage and coordinated effort can reverse chaos in war. Ethically, it underscores that valor and discipline—rather than panic—determine outcomes when conflict escalates.
Sañjaya describes a moment of battlefield collapse: as many chariots scatter in flight, Abhimanyu and Sātyaki, fighting together from one chariot, press the advantage and inflict heavy losses on the troops led by Subala’s son (Śakuni), striking in all directions.
