तथैव पाण्डवा: सर्वे महत्या सेनया सह । द्रोणभीष्मौ रणे यत्तौ प्रत्युद्ययुररिंदमौ,इसी प्रकार विशाल सेनाके साथ समस्त पाण्डव भी युद्धके लिये तैयार खड़े हुए शत्रुदमन द्रोणाचार्य और भीष्मसे भिड़नेके लिये आगे बढ़े
tathaiva pāṇḍavāḥ sarve mahatyā senayā saha | droṇabhīṣmau raṇe yattau pratyudyayur arindamau ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Del mismo modo, todos los Pāṇḍava, acompañados por su vasto ejército, se mantuvieron listos para la guerra. Avanzaron para hacer frente a Droṇa y a Bhīṣma, esos dos formidables abatidores de enemigos, ya empeñados en el combate.
