Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
मार्गान् बहून् विचरता धावता च ततस्ततः । मुहुरुत्पतता चैव सम्मोह: समपद्यत
sañjaya uvāca | mārgān bahūn vicaratā dhāvatā ca tatastataḥ | muhur utpatatā caiva sammohaḥ samapadyata, rājan |
Dijo Sañjaya: «¡Oh rey! Mientras él recorría muchos senderos y corría de un lado a otro, y mientras una y otra vez se alzaba de un salto, un pánico aturdidor se apoderó del campo. Como un elefante soberano en el fragor de la lucha, los movimientos de Bhimasena y el terror que infundía hicieron temblar a los soldados y a sus monturas, y la confusión se extendió sobre todos».
