भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय 54: फल्गुन-प्रतिरोधः, सौबली-व्यूह-विध्वंसः, दुर्योधन-भीष्म-संवादः
सो5हमेवंगते मग्नो भीष्मागाधजले<प्लवे
so’ham evaṃgate magno bhīṣmāgādhajale ’plave
Dijo Sañjaya: «Así, conforme se desenvolvían los sucesos, me hallé hundiéndome—sin medio alguno de cruzar—en las aguas profundas de Bhishma, como en una inundación insondable, abrumado por el curso de la guerra.»
