Chapter 47: Krauñca-vyūha Deployment and Conch-Signals
Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
सहदेव उवाच अस्मिन् रणसमूहे वै वर्तमाने महाभये । उत्सृज्य क्व नु गन्तासि शत्रूनभिमुखो नृूप,सहदेवने पूछा--नरेश्वर! इस रणक्षेत्रमें जहाँ शत्रु-सेनाका समूह जुटा हुआ है और महान् भय उपस्थित है, आप हमें छोड़कर शत्रुओंकी ओर कहाँ जायँगे?
sahadeva uvāca | asmin raṇasamūhe vai vartamāne mahābhaye | utsṛjya kva nu gantāsi śatrūn-abhimukho nṛpa ||
Sahadeva dijo: «Oh rey, cuando en este campo de batalla las huestes están reunidas y ha surgido un gran peligro, ¿adónde irás, dejándonos atrás, mientras te vuelves hacia el enemigo?»
