Chapter 43: Tumult of Battle-Sounds and the Proliferation of Dvandva

यो मामेवमसम्मूढोः जानाति पुरुषोत्तमम् | स सर्वविद्ः भजति मां सर्वभावेन भारत,हे भारत! जो ज्ञानी पुरुष मुझको इस प्रकार तत्त्वसे पुरुषोत्तम जानता है, वह सर्वज्ञ पुरुष सब प्रकारसे निरन्तर मुझ वासुदेव परमेश्वरको ही भजता है?
arjuna uvāca | yo mām evam asammūḍho jānāti puruṣottamam | sa sarvavid bhajati māṁ sarvabhāvena bhārata ||
¡Oh Bhārata! Quien, sin extravío, Me conoce así como Puruṣottama —la Persona Suprema—, ése es conocedor de la totalidad y Me adora con todo su ser, en todo modo.
अजुन उवाच
True, undeluded knowledge of the Lord as Puruṣottama naturally culminates in wholehearted devotion; right understanding is not merely intellectual but becomes total worship and alignment of one’s entire being.
Arjuna speaks, affirming the teaching he has received: the one who comprehends the Lord’s supreme status without confusion becomes ‘sarvavit’ in the essential sense and responds by worshipping the Lord completely.
