स तया श्रद्धया युक्तस्तस्याराधनमीहते । लभते च तत: कामान् मयैव विहितान् हि तान्,वह पुरुष उस श्रद्धासे युक्त होकर उस देवताका पूजन करता है और उस देवतासे मेरे द्वारा ही विधान किये हुए उन इच्छित भोगोंको नि:संदेह प्राप्त करता है
sa tayā śraddhayā yuktaḥ tasyārādhanam īhate | labhate ca tataḥ kāmān mayāiva vihitān hi tān |
Dotado de esa fe, se empeña en adorar a esa deidad; y de esa deidad obtiene, en efecto, los goces deseados—pero esos goces, en verdad, han sido ordenados únicamente por Mí.
अजुन उवाच
Even when one worships a particular deity with sincere faith, the attainment of desired results is ultimately governed by the supreme divine ordinance; the deity becomes the channel, but the sanction of the fruit belongs to the highest principle (here, Krishna).
