संजय उवाच इत्युक्तवति गाज़ेये अभिवाद्योपमन्त्रय च । राधेयो रथमारुह् प्रायात् तव सुतं प्रति,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! गंगानन्दन भीष्मके ऐसा कहनेपर राधानन्दन कर्ण उन्हें प्रणाम करके उनकी आज्ञा ले रथपर आरूढ़ हो आपके पुत्र दुर्योधनके पास चला गया
sañjaya uvāca ity uktavati gāṅgeye abhivādyopamantrya ca | rādheyo ratham āruhya prāyāt tava sutaṃ prati ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Oh rey, cuando Bhīṣma, hijo del Ganges, hubo hablado así, Karṇa, hijo de Rādhā, se inclinó ante él, tomó licencia tras recibir su consejo, subió a su carro y partió hacia tu hijo (Duryodhana).
