गमिष्यामि स्वकं स्थानमासीद्ू यन्मे पुरातनम् | उदगायन आदित्ये हंसा: सत्यं ब्रवीमि व:
gamiṣyāmi svakaṁ sthānam āsīd yad me purātanam | udagāyane āditye haṁsāḥ satyaṁ bravīmi vaḥ ||
«¡Oh Haṁsas! Sólo cuando el Sol haya girado a su curso hacia el norte (uttarāyaṇa) emprenderé el viaje a mi propia morada, la antigua estación que desde hace mucho me pertenece. Os lo digo en verdad.»
