प्रजज्वाल रणे पार्थो विधूम इव पावक: । भरतश्रेष्ठ) इस प्रकार दसवें दिनके पूर्वाह्नकालमें उन महारथियोंको पराजित करके कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन रणभूमिमें धूमरहित अग्निके समान प्रकाशित होने लगे

prajajvāla raṇe pārtho vidhūma iva pāvakaḥ |

Sañjaya dijo: En plena batalla, Pārtha (Arjuna) resplandeció como un fuego sin humo. Tras someter a aquellos grandes guerreros de carro en la mañana antes del décimo día, el hijo de Kuntī brilló en el campo de batalla: su poder parecía puro y sin obstáculo, como una llama sin humo.
