पार्थहेतो: पराक्रान्तो भीष्मस्यायो धन प्रति । राजन! भीष्मजीके साथ युद्ध करनेमें अर्जुनकी सहायताके लिये पराक्रम करनेवाले सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्युने राजकुमार बृहद्वलके साथ युद्ध किया
sañjaya uvāca | pārtha-hetoḥ parākrānto bhīṣmasya āyodhanaṃ prati | rājan, bhīṣmajīke sātha yuddha karane meṃ arjunakī sahāyatā ke liye parākrama karanevāle subhadrā-kumāra abhimanyune rāja-kumāra bṛhadvalake sātha yuddha kiyā |
Sañjaya dijo: Oh rey, Abhimanyu —el valeroso hijo de Subhadrā— avanzó por causa de Arjuna hacia el frente de batalla de Bhīṣma. Deseoso de sostener a Arjuna en la lucha contra Bhīṣma, trabó combate con el príncipe Bṛhadvala.
