Educational Q&A

As a colophon-like closing, the verse teaches that epic events—especially violent turning points—are to be remembered within a moral frame. The formal conclusion signals accountability: war episodes are not mere spectacle but recorded as dharma-laden actions with lasting ethical consequences.

This is the chapter-ending statement: it declares that the 108th chapter, focused on the meeting/encounter of Bhishma and Shikhandi within the Bhishma-vadha section of the Bhishma Parva, has been completed, with Sanjaya as the speaker.
