«¡Héroe! Iré pegado a tu espalda, haciendo huir las filas enemigas con mis flechas. Por eso, arremete con fiera determinación contra Bhīṣma, cuyo poder es terrible.»

The verse highlights martial loyalty and coordinated action in battle: one warrior pledges support by covering fire (arrows) while urging a direct assault on a formidable opponent. Ethically, it reflects the kṣatriya ideal of steadfastness, courage, and commitment to one’s chosen side in war.
In the midst of the Kurukṣetra battle, Sañjaya reports a vow of support: the speaker promises to follow closely and rout the enemy with arrows, then exhorts an immediate, wrathful charge against Bhīṣma, renowned for fearsome valor.
