भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
एवमामन्त्रय ते वीरा: पाण्डवा: पाण्डुपूर्वजम् जग्मुस्ते सहिता: सर्वे वासुदेवश्च वीर्यवान्,वे वीर पाण्डव इस प्रकार सलाह करके सब एक साथ मिलकर अपने पिता पाण्डुके भी पितृतुल्य भीष्मपितामहके पास गये; उनके साथ पराक्रमी भगवान् वासुदेव भी थे
evam āmantrya te vīrāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ pāṇḍu-pūrvajam jagmus te sahitāḥ sarve vāsudevaś ca vīryavān
Dijo Sañjaya: “Habiendo así deliberado y tomado consejo, aquellos heroicos Pāṇḍavas—todos juntos—fueron a ver a Bhīṣma, el mayor de la estirpe de Pāṇḍu, venerado como un padre; y con ellos fue también el poderoso Vāsudeva.”
