Transliteration

mahendrasamavīryeṇa vadhyamānā mahācamūḥ

Translation

Sañjaya dijo: El gran ejército, abatido por uno cuya pujanza igualaba la de Indra, comenzó a sufrir una devastación terrible: imagen de la fuerza arrolladora de la guerra, ante la cual hasta las huestes más vastas flaquean frente a un valor extraordinario.
