भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
अलनम्बुषो रथश्रेष्ठ: श्रुतायुश्न महारथ: । पृष्ठत: सर्वसैन्यानां स्थितौ व्यूहस्य दंशितौ
sañjaya uvāca |
alambūṣo rathaśreṣṭhaḥ śrutāyuś ca mahārathaḥ |
pṛṣṭhataḥ sarvasainyānāṃ sthitau vyūhasya daṃśitau ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Alambūṣa, el más destacado entre los aurigas, y Śrutāyu, gran guerrero de carro, ambos con armadura completa, se apostaron en la retaguardia de todo el ejército, detrás del despliegue, listos para sostenerlo y defenderlo.
