भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
पाण्डवा: समरे शूरा: स्थिता युद्धाय दंशिता: । इस प्रकार शूरवीर पाण्डव भी समरांगणमें अत्यन्त दुर्जय महाव्यूहकी रचना करके कवच बाँध युद्धके लिये तैयार थे
pāṇḍavāḥ samare śūrāḥ sthitā yuddhāya daṃśitāḥ |
Sañjaya dijo: Los Pāṇḍava—valientes en la batalla—se mantuvieron firmes en el campo, plenamente armados y resueltos a la guerra. Tras disponer una gran formación de combate, temible e inexpugnable, y ceñirse la armadura, se prepararon para luchar, encarnando una disciplina vigilante ante las graves exigencias del dharma en el conflicto.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined readiness and steadfast courage in the face of righteous conflict: warriors must be prepared, organized, and resolute, treating war as a grave duty rather than impulsive violence.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Pāṇḍavas have taken their positions on the battlefield, fully armed and prepared, having arranged a powerful battle-formation and readied themselves to engage.
