Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
अपश्यस्त्वं तं तदा घोररूपं सर्वे वै त्वां ददृशुर्दर्शनीयम् । यस्माद् भीत: प्राञ्जलिस्त्वं महर्षि- मागच्छेथा: शरणं दानवघ्न
śakra uvāca | apaśyastvaṃ taṃ tadā ghorarūpaṃ sarve vai tvāṃ dadṛśur darśanīyam | yasmād bhītaḥ prāñjalistvaṃ maharṣi-m āgacchethāḥ śaraṇaṃ dānavaghna ||
Dijo Śakra: “Sí, entonces viste a aquel ser de forma espantosa; y todos también volvieron la mirada hacia ti: tu estado era, en verdad, digno de verse. Pues, atemorizado, con las manos juntas en súplica, te acercaste al gran sabio Cyavana en busca de refugio, oh matador de Dānavas.”
