एवमेतदिति प्राहुस्तदभूल्लोमहर्षणम् । उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेन आदि भाइयों और द्रौपदीने एक स्वरसे कहा--'हाँ, महाराजका कहना ठीक है।” इस महान् त्यागकी बात सुनकर सबके रोंगटे खड़े हो गये
evam etad iti prāhus tad abhūl lomaharṣaṇam |
«Así es», respondieron, y el instante fue de los que erizan la piel. Aun después de hablar él de ese modo, Bhīmasena y los demás hermanos, junto con Draupadī, dijeron al unísono: «Sí: lo que dice el rey es justo». Al oír el relato de tan grande renuncia, a todos se les puso el vello de punta, sobrecogidos por el peso moral de aquel sacrificio.
