उपयास्यामि धर्मज्ञ भवत: शासनादहम् । अश्वमेधे महायज्ञे द्विजातिपरिवेषक:,'धर्मज्ञ! आपकी आज्ञासे मैं अश्वमेध महायज्ञमें अवश्य उपस्थित होऊँगा और ब्राह्मगोंको भोजन परोसनेका काम करूँगा
upayāsyāmi dharmajña bhavataḥ śāsanād aham | aśvamedhe mahāyajñe dvijātīpariveṣakaḥ ||
Arjuna dijo: «Oh conocedor del dharma, obedeciendo tu mandato acudiré sin falta al gran sacrificio del Aśvamedha, y allí serviré distribuyendo alimento a los dos veces nacidos».
