अभवं स च तच्छुत्वा विषादमगमत् परम् । ः | : है डर “उनकी बातें सुनकर मेरी सारी इन्द्रियाँ व्यथित हो उठीं और पातालमें प्रवेश करके मैंने अपने पितासे यह सारा समाचार कह सुनाया। यह सुनकर पिताजीको भी बड़ा खेद हुआ
abhavaṁ sa ca tac chrutvā viṣādam agamat param |
Arjuna dijo: «Cuando oí aquellas palabras, me vi abrumado por un dolor intensísimo. Mis sentidos se estremecieron, y entré en las regiones subterráneas para comunicarle todo el asunto a mi padre. Al oírlo, mi padre también fue presa de una honda aflicción».
