प्राग्ज्योतिषे वज्रदत्त-धनंजय-समागमः
Vajradatta Confronts Dhanaṃjaya at Prāgjyotiṣa
तदनादृत्य ते सर्वे शरैरभ्यहनंस्तदा । तमोरजोभ्यां संछन्नांस्तान् किरीटी न्यवारयत्
tad anādṛtya te sarve śarair abhyahanams tadā | tamorajo-bhyāṁ saṁchannāṁs tān kirīṭī nyavārayat ||
Pero todos ellos desoyeron su consejo y entonces lo hirieron con descargas de flechas. A aquellos Trigartas, con la mente nublada por la oscuridad y la pasión (tamas y rajas), Kirīṭī (Arjuna) los contuvo, esforzándose por apartarlos de la lucha—buscando frenar su agresión temeraria antes que responderles con la misma moneda.
