Aśvamedha-dīkṣā, Vyāsa’s horse-release, and Arjuna’s departure with Gāṇḍīva (आश्वमेधिक-दीक्षा तथा हय-उत्सर्गः)
सहदेवस्तु कौरव्य समाधास्यति बुद्धिमान । कुट॒म्बतन्त्रं विधिवत् सर्वमेव महायशा:,“कुरुनन्दन! महायशस्वी बुद्धिमान् सहदेव कुटुम्ब-पालनसम्बन्धी समस्त कार्योंकी देखभाल करेंगे”
sahadevas tu kauravya samādhāsyati buddhimān | kuṭumbatantraṃ vidhivat sarvam eva mahāyaśāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Oh vástago de los Kuru, el sabio y muy renombrado Sahadeva pondrá en orden, como es debido, y supervisará toda la administración del hogar y sus asuntos».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma is sustained not only through grand rituals and royal policy but also through orderly, rule-based stewardship of the household. Wisdom expresses itself as competent administration, ensuring stability and well-being for dependents.
Vaiśampāyana describes the allocation of responsibilities: Sahadeva, praised as wise and renowned, is entrusted with properly organizing and overseeing the full system of household and family affairs.
