उपयोक्तुं तदिच्छामि वाजिमेथे महाक्रतौ । “भगवन्‌! आपकी कृपासे जो वह रत्न लाया गया है, उसका अश्वमेध नामक महायज्ञमें मैं उपयोग करना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

upayoktuṃ tad icchāmi vājimethe mahākratau |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Con tu permiso, deseo emplear ese (precioso objeto) en el gran rito sacrificial, el Aśvamedha, para que lo obtenido por tu gracia sea consagrado a un propósito conforme al dharma.»
