Janmaveśma-praveśa and Uttarā’s Śaraṇāgati
Entry into the Birth-Chamber and Uttarā’s Appeal
संजीवयैन दुर्धर्ष मृतं त्वमभिमन्युजम् । सदृशाक्षसुतं वीर सस्य॑ वर्षन्निवाम्बुद:
saṃjīvayaina durdharṣa mṛtaṃ tvam abhimanyujam | sadṛśākṣasutaṃ vīra sasyaṃ varṣann ivāmbudaḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Oh héroe inconquistable, devuelve a la vida a este hijo muerto de Abhimanyu—cuyos ojos se asemejan a los de su padre. Así como una nube de lluvia, al derramar agua, hace prosperar incluso una cosecha reseca, así también revívelo».
