Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
बलदेवं पुरस्कृत्य सुभद्रासहितस्तदा
baladevaṁ puraskṛtya subhadrā-sahitas tadā
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Entonces, poniendo a Balarāma al frente, llegó también Subhadrā. Su auspiciosa venida tenía por fin encontrarse con Draupadī, Uttarā y Kuntī, y asimismo consolar y dar firmeza de ánimo a aquellas mujeres kṣatriyas cuyos esposos habían sido muertos.»
वैशम्पायन उवाच
In the wake of catastrophic loss, dharma includes compassionate presence: elders and kin should actively console the bereaved, restore courage, and uphold social and moral stability rather than leaving grief to isolate the vulnerable.
After the war, Balarāma is honored as the leading figure, and Subhadrā accompanies him to meet Draupadī, Uttarā, and Kuntī, with the specific purpose of reassuring the widowed Kṣatriya women whose husbands have been killed.
