Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)
वासुदेव महाबाहो सुप्रजा देवकी त्वया । त्वं नो गति: प्रतिष्ठा च त्वदायत्तमिदं कुलम्
vāsudeva mahābāho suprajā devakī tvayā | tvaṃ no gatiḥ pratiṣṭhā ca tvadāyattam idaṃ kulam ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «¡Oh Vāsudeva, de poderosos brazos! Por ti, Devakī es tenida en verdad por bendecida con un hijo excelente. Tú eres nuestro refugio y nuestro firme sostén; la salvaguarda y la continuidad de este linaje descansan bajo tu protección».
