Offerings to Tryambaka; Yakṣa honors; Excavation of the Treasure
तथैव सैनिका राजन् राजानमनुयान्ति ये । तेषां हलहलाशब्दो दिवं स्तब्ध्वा व्यतिष्ठत,राजन! राजा युधिष्ठटिरके पीछे-पीछे जो बहुत-से सैनिक चल रहे थे, उनका महान् कोलाहल आकाशको स्तब्ध करके गूँज उठता था
tathaiva sainikā rājan rājānam anuyānti ye | teṣāṃ halahalāśabdo divaṃ stabdhvā vyatiṣṭhata ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Del mismo modo, oh rey, los numerosos soldados que marchaban tras el rey Yudhiṣṭhira alzaron un estrépito tan poderoso que parecía detener el cielo mismo y resonar en él».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the visible power and responsibility of kingship: a ruler’s movement draws the collective force of an army, suggesting that royal authority must be guided by dharma because it mobilizes and affects many lives.
As King Yudhiṣṭhira proceeds, a large body of soldiers follows him. Their loud clamour rises so powerfully that it is poetically described as stunning the sky and echoing through it.
