Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
पितरं दु:खिततरो गोविन्दो वाक्यमत्रवीत् । इस प्रकार पिताको अत्यन्त दु:खित होकर बहुत विलाप करते देख श्रीकृष्ण स्वयं भी बहुत दुःखी हो गये और उन्हें सान्त्वना देते हुए इस प्रकार बोले--
pitaraṁ duḥkhitataraḥ govindo vākyam abravīt |
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Al ver a su padre abatido por el dolor y lamentándose con intensidad, Govinda (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) también quedó hondamente herido. Para consolarlo y aquietar su ánimo, pronunció entonces estas palabras.
