Uttanka’s Guru-Śuśrūṣā and the Commission to Retrieve the Maṇikuṇḍalas (उत्तङ्क-गुरुशुश्रूषा तथा मणिकुण्डल-आदेशः)
तदा मरौ भविष्यन्ति जलपूर्णा: पयोधरा: । रसवच्च प्रदास्यन्ति तोयं ते भूगुनन्दन
tadā marau bhaviṣyanti jalapūrṇāḥ payodharāḥ | rasavac ca pradāsyanti toyaṃ te bhṛgunandana ||
Entonces, aun en el desierto, las nubes de lluvia se colmarán de agua; y derramarán para ti un agua rica y dulce—oh deleite de los Bhṛgu. Esta afirmación subraya una garantía moral: cuando se sostiene la rectitud y la conducta justa, se dice que la misma naturaleza responde con abundancia oportuna y nutritiva, convirtiendo la aridez en sustento.
उत्तडुक उवाच
The verse conveys a dharmic assurance that right order and merit can transform scarcity into abundance: even a desert can receive nourishing rain when conditions—ethical and cosmic—are aligned.
Uttaṅka addresses a Bhṛgu-descendant, offering a prophetic blessing or assurance: rain-clouds will become water-laden even over a desert and will pour out sweet, sustaining water for him.
