आजगाम महाबुद्धिरुत्तड़कश्नैनमब्रवीत्‌ । न युक्त तादृशं दातुं त्वया पुरुषसत्तम

ājagāma mahābuddhir uttaḍakaś cainam abravīt | na yuktaṃ tādṛśaṃ dātuṃ tvayā puruṣasattama ||

Entonces Uttadaka, hombre de gran inteligencia, se acercó y le dijo: «Oh el mejor de los hombres, no es propio de ti dar un don semejante».
