त्वया शक्तेन हि सता मिथ्याचारेण माधव । ते परीताः कुरुश्रेष्ठा नश्यन्तः सम ह्ुपेक्षिता:
tvayā śaktena hi satā mithyācāreṇa mādhava | te parītāḥ kuruśreṣṭhā naśyantaḥ sam-upekṣitāḥ ||
¡Oh Mādhava! Aunque eras plenamente capaz, te acogiste a un proceder engañoso. Aquellos varones eminentes de la estirpe de los Kuru, cercados por todos los flancos en la batalla, fueron destruidos—mientras tú mirabas con indiferencia. ¡Ay, qué asunto tan doloroso es éste!
