Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)
गतिरेषा तु मुक्तानां ये ज्ञानपरिनिषछिता: । प्रवृत्तयश्न या: सर्वा: पश्यन्ति परिणामजा:,ज्ञाननिष्ठ जीवन्मुक्त महात्माओंकी यही परम गति है; क्योंकि वे उन समस्त प्रवृत्तियोंको शुभाशुभ फल देनेवाली समझते हैं
gatir eṣā tu muktānāṃ ye jñāna-pariniṣṭhitāḥ | pravṛttayaś ca yāḥ sarvāḥ paśyanti pariṇāmajāḥ ||
Dijo Vāyu: «Éste es, en verdad, el curso supremo de los liberados—de quienes están firmemente establecidos en el conocimiento verdadero. Contemplan todos los impulsos y empeños del mundo como efectos que maduran en consecuencias, sabiendo que son fuente de frutos propicios e impropicios; por eso, aun viviendo y actuando, permanecen libres por dentro».
