Adhyātma-Upadeśa
यावद् रथपथस्तावदू रथेन स तु गच्छति । क्षीणे रथपदे विद्वान् रथमुत्सूज्य गच्छति
yāvad rathapathas tāvadū rathena sa tu gacchati | kṣīṇe rathapade vidvān ratham utsṛjya gacchati |
Dijo Vāyu: «Mientras haya camino de carros, se avanza en carro. Cuando el rastro del camino de carros se extingue, el sabio deja el carro y sigue a pie. Del mismo modo, el viajero necio se aferra a un solo medio y sufre cuando cambia el terreno; el perspicaz adapta su método a los límites del camino».
