बुद्धिह्हि व्यवसायेन लक्ष्यते नात्र संशय: । चिन्तन मनका और निश्चय बुद्धिका लक्षण है; क्योंकि मनुष्य इस जगतमें मनके द्वारा चिन्तन की हुई वस्तुओंका बुद्धिसे ही निश्चय करते हैं, निश्चयके द्वारा ही बुद्धि जाननेमें आती है, इसमें संदेह नहीं है
buddhir hi vyavasāyena lakṣyate nātra saṁśayaḥ |
Dijo Vāyu: «El intelecto se reconoce por su poder de resolución decisiva; de ello no hay duda. La mente puede albergar pensamientos y posibilidades, pero es el intelecto el que determina y fija lo que ha de aceptarse. Así, la certeza y la decisión firme son las señales distintivas por las que se conoce el intelecto».
