अण्डजानि विजानीयात् सर्वाश्वैव सरीसूपान् इनके अतिरिक्त जो दूसरे आकाशचारी प्राणी हैं तथा जो पेटसे चलनेवाले सर्प आदि हैं, उन सबको भी अण्डज जानना चाहिये
aṇḍajāni vijānīyāt sarvāṇy eva sarīsṛpān |
Dijo Vāyu: «Debe entenderse que todas las criaturas que se arrastran—como las serpientes y otras semejantes—son “aṇḍaja”, nacidas del huevo. Del mismo modo, los demás seres que se mueven por el cielo han de reconocerse también como pertenecientes a la clase de los nacidos del huevo».
