जनक–ब्राह्मणसंवादः

Viṣaya, Mamatva, and Self-Mastery

ब्राह्मणं जनको राजा सन्न॑ कस्मिंक्षिदागसि । विषये मे न वस्तव्यमिति शिष्ट्यर्थमब्रवीत्‌,एक समय राजा जनकने किसी अपराधमें पकड़े हुए ब्राह्मणको दण्ड देते हुए कहा --“ब्रह्मन! आप मेरे देशसे बाहर चले जाइये'

brāhmaṇaṁ janako rājā sann kasmiṁkṣid āgasi | viṣaye me na vastavyam iti śiṣṭy-artham abravīt |

Dijo el brāhmaṇa: El rey Janaka, al hallar a un brāhmaṇa implicado en alguna falta, le habló a modo de disciplina e instrucción: «Brāhmaṇa, no debes permanecer en mi reino; abandona mi país».
