Consolation of Yudhiṣṭhira; Rites and Gifts; Return to Hastināpura
हिमवन्तं त्वया गुप्ता गमिष्याम: पितामह । बह्वाश्चर्यो हि देश: स श्रूयते द्विजसत्तम
himavantaṁ tvayā guptā gamiṣyāmaḥ pitāmaha | bahvāścaryo hi deśaḥ sa śrūyate dvijasattama ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Oh, Abuelo venerable, bajo tu protección viajaremos a Himavān, el Himalaya. Pues aquella región, oh el mejor de los dos veces nacidos, se dice colmada de muchos prodigios».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the dharmic value of undertaking a sacred journey under the protection and guidance of a revered elder/teacher, combining humility with disciplined curiosity toward sacred, wondrous places.
