Marutta’s Sacrifice: Indra’s Threat, Saṃvarta’s Mantric Restraint, and Divine Reconciliation (अध्याय १०)
संवर्त उवाच यदि प्रीतस्त्वमसि वै देवराज तस्मात्स्वयं शाधि यज्ञे विधानम् । स्वयं सर्वान् कुरु भागान् सुरेन्द्र जानात्वयं सर्वलोकश्ष देव,संवर्तने कहा--देवराज! यदि आप प्रसन्न हैं तो यज्ञमें जो-जो कार्य आवश्यक है, उसका स्वयं ही उपदेश दीजिये तथा सुरेन्द्र! स्वयं ही सब देवताओंके भाग निश्चित कीजिये। देव! यहाँ आये हुए सब लोग आपकी प्रसन्नताका प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव करें
Saṃvarta uvāca: yadi prītastvam asi vai devarāja tasmāt svayaṃ śādhi yajñe vidhānam | svayaṃ sarvān kuru bhāgān surendra jānātvayaṃ sarvalokaś ca deva ||
Saṃvarta dijo: «Oh rey de los dioses, si en verdad estás complacido, instruye tú mismo el rito correcto de este sacrificio. Oh Indra, asigna tú mismo las porciones destinadas a todas las deidades, para que, oh divino, todos los aquí reunidos reconozcan de manera directa tu favor».
