तमायान्तं सहित देवसंघै: प्रत्युध्ययां सपुरोधा मरुत्त: । चक्रे पूजां देवराजाय चाग्रयां यथाशास्त्रं विधिवत् प्रीयमाण:,देववृन्दके साथ इन्द्रको आते देख राजा मरुत्तने अपने पुरोहित संवर्त मुनिके साथ आगे बढ़कर उनकी अगवानी की और बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ शास्त्रीय विधिसे उनका अग्रपूजन किया
tam āyāntaṃ sahita-deva-saṅghaiḥ pratyudyayau sa-purodhā maruttaḥ | cakre pūjāṃ deva-rājāya cāgryāṃ yathā-śāstraṃ vidhi-vat prīyamāṇaḥ ||
Al ver acercarse a Indra, rey de los dioses, en compañía de la asamblea divina, el rey Marutta—junto con su sacerdote familiar—salió a recibirlo. Con el corazón gozoso, rindió al soberano celestial el honor y la adoración más excelsos, tal como prescriben las ordenanzas sagradas y conforme al debido rito. El pasaje realza la ética de la hospitalidad reverente y la disciplina de atenerse al dharma al acoger a un huésped digno, más aún si es de rango cósmico.
