Bhīmasya paruṣa-vākyaṃ

एष एव परो धर्मों राजर्षीणां युधिष्ठिर । समरे वा भवेन्मृत्युर्वने वा विधिपूर्वकम्
eṣa eva paro dharmo rājarṣīṇāṁ yudhiṣṭhira | samare vā bhaven mṛtyur vane vā vidhipūrvakam ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Este es, en verdad, el dharma supremo de los reyes sabios, oh Yudhiṣṭhira: que la muerte llegue en el campo de batalla, o en el bosque conforme a los ritos prescritos. En ambos casos, el fin justo—afrontado con disciplina y fidelidad al deber—es tenido por lo más excelso.»
