धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
अस्य पापस्य शुद्धयर्थ नियतो5स्मि सुदुर्मति: । विशेषत: पंद्रहवें वर्षमें आज मुझ दुर्बुद्धिकी आँखें खुली हैं और अब मैं इस पापकी शुद्धिके लिये नियमका पालन करने लगा हूँ
asya pāpasya śuddhyarthaṁ niyato 'smi sudurmatī
Dijo Dhṛtarāṣṭra: «Para la purificación de este pecado, yo —aunque de mente extraviada— me he ligado ahora a observancias disciplinadas. Por fin se me han abierto los ojos, y he comenzado a seguir una regla de contención para que esta falta sea lavada.»
