vidyate na bhayaṃ cāpi paralokān mamānaghāḥ |
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: «Oh sabios sin mancha, no temo en absoluto el más allá. En verdad, con solo contemplaros he quedado purificado; por ello no hay duda de que la otra vida ya no encierra terror para mí.»
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Association with the righteous—especially the direct sight (darśana) of sinless sages—is portrayed as spiritually purifying and as removing anxiety about one’s fate after death (paraloka).
In Vaiśaṃpāyana’s narration, a speaker expresses confidence about the hereafter, declaring that meeting and beholding the sages has purified him and dispelled any fear of the next world.
