Chatra–Upānah Dāna: Origin Narrative
Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
प्रययुस्ते ततो भूयस्तीर्थानि वनगोचरा: । पुण्येषु तीर्थेषु तथा गात्राण्याप्लावयन्त ते
prayayus te tato bhūyas tīrthāni vanagocarāḥ | puṇyeṣu tīrtheṣu tathā gātrāṇy āplāvayanta te ||
Entonces aquellos errantes moradores del bosque partieron de nuevo hacia los tīrtha, los vados sagrados. Yendo de un lugar santo a otro, sumergían sus cuerpos en las aguas y se bañaban, renovándose por la peregrinación y la purificación.
