Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
जगदग्निरुवाच नैतस्थेह यथास्माकं भक्तमिन्धनमेव च । संचिन्त्यं वार्षिक चित्ते तेन पीवाउछुना सह
Jamadagnir uvāca: na etat iha yathā asmākam bhaktam indhanam eva ca | sañcintyam vārṣikam citte tena pīvā ucchunā saha ||
Dijo Jamadagni: «Aquí no es como con nosotros: hay que llevar en la mente, durante todo el año, cálculos ansiosos sobre el alimento e incluso sobre la leña. Como en su corazón no existe esa preocupación anual, ha engordado, junto con el perro».
