इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें सुवर्णकी उत्पत्तिविषयक पचासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvake antargata dānadharmaparvame suvarṇasya utpatti-viṣayakaḥ pañcāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat
Así concluye el capítulo octogésimo quinto de la sección Dānadharma, dentro del Anuśāsana Parva del sagrado Mahābhārata, que trata del origen del oro.
भीष्म उवाच
As a colophon, the verse does not add new doctrine but signals that the instruction belongs to the dharma of giving: wealth (symbolized by gold) is to be understood within ethical restraint and rightful donation, not mere possession.
