नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
लेभिरे परम हर्ष मेनिरे चासुरं हतम् । ततो देवा: प्रियाण्यस्य सर्व एव समाहरन्
bhīṣma uvāca | lebhire parama-harṣaṁ menire cāsuraṁ hatam | tato devāḥ priyāṇy asya sarva eva samāharan |
Bhishma dijo: Alcanzaron la dicha suprema y se convencieron de que el asura sería abatido. Entonces todos los dioses se reunieron y le llevaron ofrendas preciadas, cosas que le eran gratas. (En el contexto, los videntes alaban al niño y los Gandharvas cantan su fama; al contemplar su forma radiante y extraordinaria, los dioses lo toman como un augurio propicio de que el fin de Tārakāsura es ya seguro.)
भीष्म उवाच
When righteous forces recognize a divinely sanctioned means to restore order, they respond with unified support and reverent offering; confidence arises not from arrogance but from perceiving auspicious signs aligned with dharma.
After seeing the extraordinary child (Kumāra/Skanda in the surrounding passage) and taking it as a sure sign that the demon Tāraka will be killed, the gods rejoice and collectively bring him offerings dear to him.
